Tobacco use is the leading cause of disease, disability, and death in WA. The sale and use of tobacco products in Western Australia is strongly regulated. The Department of Health has a comprehensive tobacco control compliance program including licensing, monitoring and investigations to allow for the lawful and controlled supply and use of a dangerous product.
