Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

The Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) is an internationally accredited course. 

This course is a dynamic and interactive 2 day program that delivers core trauma knowledge and skills necessary for the care and management of the severely injured patient.

Eligibility

To attend a TNCC course, it is highly recommended that participants possess:

  • At least 6 months clinical nursing experience in an emergency care or trauma related setting
  • An understanding of emergency care terminology
  • Familiarity with standard emergency equipment.

Verification

Registered Nurses who complete testing are eligible for TNCC verification Enrolled Nurses and Paramedics who complete testing will receive a Non RN Verification card
