Roadmap set to increase patient access to clinical trials
WA’s first Clinical Trials Roadmap was launched today by Medical Research Minister Stephen Dawson, ahead of International Clinical Trials Day on 20 May.
The WA Clinical Trials Roadmap sets out an ambitious plan to build a thriving, innovative, competitive clinical trials ecosystem, that will give Western Australians access to world-class clinical trials as part of routine care.
This access will ensure Western Australians can benefit from the latest approaches to diagnosis, management and prevention of diseases and offer hope to people with rare diseases and those who have exhausted all treatment options.
The WA Clinical Trials Roadmap will help our state realise the benefits of clinical trials and improve the lives of Western Australians.
