Perth Health Innovation Hub

The Department of Health is redeveloping the former Electricity and Gas building in Murray Street Perth into a medical research and innovation hub.

The heritage listed building, constructed in 1890, is being transformed into a central space for collaboration, research and development, bringing together innovators and researchers from across the WA medical sector.

By providing access to shared facilities and infrastructure, the hub will support researchers, clinicians and innovators to collaborate on new approaches to healthcare delivery and innovation.

Centred on collaboration and partnership, the site will bring together specialist support, training and guidance to turn research and ideas into viable initiatives that support improved health outcomes in Western Australia.
