WA Health is reporting a total of 3,602 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 24,126 active cases in Western Australia.
Sadly, WA Health can confirm one person – a female in her 80s – who tested positive for COVID-19 has passed away. Due to patient confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department on this death.
To 8pm last night, there were 122 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 5 in ICU.

Of the 3,602 cases, 1,745 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 1,857 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 9,222 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 46,986 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
