WA Health is reporting a total of 5,639 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 45,008 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 240 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 9 in ICU.
Sadly, a man in his 80s has died in today’s reporting cycle to 8pm last night.

Of the 5,639 cases, 1,894 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3,745 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 7,571 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 348,704 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
