WA Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 overnight.
The State’s total remains at 1112. To date, 1099 people have recovered from the virus in WA.
As of last night, WA Health was monitoring four active COVID-19 cases, including three people who are in hotel quarantine and one in Fiona Stanley Hospital from the vessel MV Stolt Sakura.
All contacts of a truck driver who tested positive to COVID-19 in Victoria and was potentially infectious while in WA have returned a negative result. All close contacts have completed 14 days of self-quarantine.

Testing clinics
Yesterday, 344 people were swabbed at State-run clinics. To date, there have been 1,826,820 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 212,374 were in regional WA.

COVID-19 vaccinations*
Since vaccination numbers were reported on Friday, 15 October, 60,816 COVID-19 vaccine doses were recorded in WA – 32,319 of these were second doses. The total includes 12,726 historic COVID-19 vaccine doses*. These figures represent COVID-19 vaccinations at State-run clinics and doses given as part of the Commonwealth rollout**.
