The Department of Health has today reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia.
The confirmed cases – two males, one aged in his 30s and one in his 50s– travelled to Perth from overseas. They are both in hotel quarantine.
The State’s total number of cases is now 823.
WA Health is monitoring 19 active cases and 795 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.
Yesterday 880 people presented to WA COVID clinics – 872 were assessed and swabbed.
There have been 558,561 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 91,796 were from regional WA.
