What is the Interim Hospital Package program?
The Interim Hospital Package (IHP) program enables Perth’s public hospitals to purchase short term community services and support for patients who may otherwise remain in hospital, or be admitted to hospital due to lack of availability or suitability of mainstream community support services. The services and support are tailored to the assessed needs of the patient and their carer.
Interim Hospital Packages are time limited and will not be a substitute for existing services.
Cost
There is no charge for recipients of this service.
