Drinking water carting

WA Health has developed two guidelines for those who wish to transport drinking water safely.

Guidelines for the bulk cartage of drinking water

The Guidelines for the bulk cartage of drinking water (PDF 227KB) provide information for individuals and organisations who intend to transport and supply drinking water (nominally exceeding 100 litres in volume) from a licensed drinking water provider to either a domestic or commercial consumer via a dedicated vehicle or tanker arrangement.

Vehicle mounted drinking water containers

The Guidelines for vehicle mounted drinking water containers (PDF 180KB) are designed to assist in the management and safe use of drinking water that is stored in vehicles equipped with water tanks. Some examples of vehicles where this Guideline may be used are boats, house boats, ships, caravans, motor homes, tour buses, and exploration vehicles.
