COVID-19 update – 27 September 2020
The Department of Health has reported seven new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight related to the Patricia Oldendorff vessel.
These are the seven cases publicly announced yesterday. The total number of cases associated with the vessel today remains at nine, with seven still aboard the vessel.
Test results for the remaining crew have not yet come in – these are anticipated overnight and will be reported tomorrow.
The State’s total now stands at 676. There are 16 active cases being monitored.
To date, 651 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.
Yesterday 387 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 380 were assessed and 377 swabbed.
There have been 410,171 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 70,430 were from regional WA*.
