The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight, taking the State’s total to 652.
The new case is an interstate traveller who has returned from overseas and is currently in hotel quarantine.
To date, 634 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA, and there are nine active cases.
Yesterday 469 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 462 were assessed and 461 were swabbed.
There have been 301,716 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 49,988 were from regional WA.*
