Graylands Hospital Campus is the State’s largest and only public stand-alone psychiatric teaching hospital with a number of special care services co-located on Graylands Campus. Graylands Hospital provides acute care, treatment and rehabilitation to adults. Graylands Campus also has a forensic maximum-secured inpatient facility. The special care services consist of a 24-hour 7 day a week community emergency service, court liaison and community support to forensic patients and creative and vocational training. The special services are available to in-patients as well as patients living in the community. The Graylands Campus is approved under the Mental Health Act (1996) and accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. |
