Western Australian Local Government
Various public and environmental health services are provided by local government health authorities to prevent the occurrence and spread of disease, including waste disposal, water and air pollution, food contamination, wastewater disposal and mosquito and other insect control.

Australian Commonwealth Government
The Australian Department of Health and Ageing is responsible for the development and implementation of health and aged care services policy to achieve Commonwealth Government policy and directions. Contact details for both the head office in Canberra and WA State Office are listed here.
