Part 1 (PDF 960KB) includes the Director General's executive summary and compliance reports. It also includes our purpose, our vision, service framework, services provided, accountable authority, pecuniary interests and management structure.

Part 2: Key performance indicators

Part 2 (PDF 2.86MB) includes the key performance indicators certificate statement and performance indicators audit opinion for the year ended 30 June 2008.

The key performance indicators provide measurements of the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of services.

Part 3: Significant issues and trends

Part 3 (PDF 560KB) details the major achievements and highlights in 2007–08 for the Metropolitan Health Service. These are under the priority areas of healthy workforce, healthy hospitals, health services and infrastructure, healthy communities, health partnerships, healthy resources and healthy leadership. Also included in part 3 are the priorities for 2008–09.

Part 4: Operations

Part 4 (PDF 808KB) provides information on advertising, corruption prevention, disability access and inclusion plan, employee profile, equity and diversity, internal audit controls, pricing policy, recordkeeping, recruitment, staff development, sustainability and workers’ compensation and rehabilitation. Also included in Part 4 is occupational safety and health and injury management performance. This section provides information on the occupational safety and health incidence severity.

Part 5: Financial statements
