Part 2: Key performance indicators

Part 2 (PDF 1.7MB) includes the key performance indicators certificate statement and key performance indicators audit opinion for the year ended 30 June 2008.

The key performance indicators provide measurements of the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of services.

Part 3: Significant issues and trends

Part 3 (PDF 331KB) details the major achievements and highlights for the Department of Health under the priority areas of healthy workforce, healthy hospitals, health services and infrastructure, health partnerships, healthy communities, healthy resources and healthy leadership. Also included in part 3 are the priorities for 2008–09.
