To optimise the health of individual families within their normal living environment.

Individuals or families within a community setting.

Services offered under this program

• Health promotion at a local level.

• Screening, immunisation and treatment of infants and school-aged children within community health-care clinics and schools.

• Provision of basic health care to special needs groups such as Aboriginal people, women, people with severe chronic disability or disease, people on low incomes and people living in remote areas of the State.
