How to apply for a parking permit

The process for applying for a parking permit varies between hospitals. In 2016 the application and payment processes for staff at Royal Perth Hospital and Fremantle Hospital changed with the transition across to PAYG parking and the launch of the new Electronic Parking Application Form.

KEMH staff will transition across to PAYG parking before the end of 2017, with all needing to apply for a new permit using the Electronic Application Form.

To apply for parking you will need to follow the relevant link below for your hospital and follow the instructions accordingly.

Staff working at the following hospitals are not required to pay for parking:

  • Armadale Hospital
  • Bentley Hospital
  • Graylands Hospital
  • Osborne Park Hospital
  • Rockingham General Hospital

Please note that Osborne Park Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital both operate independent staff parking permit systems. Whilst there is no charge for staff parking, staff are required to obtain a permit for authorisation. Please contact the respective hospitals directly for further information.

If your parking permit application is not successful, you have the right to appeal the decision. Please refer to appeals for additional information.

PMH

Given the move to the Perth Children’s Hospital at the QEII site, staff parking arrangements at the existing PMH campus will remain as they are. PMH staff are required to complete and submit an application form.

  1. Download the parking permit application form that applies to you:
  2. You only need to complete one of the above forms.

  3. Private vehicle drivers – your application form must be signed by your Head of Service/Department
  4. Submit your completed application form:

If your parking permit application is successful, you will be notified via the internal mail system. Please ensure your contact details are correct.

Parking Permits are valid for the period determined by Metropolitan Access and Parking Department. The 2014/2015 Purple or Green permits already issued to staff based at PMH will remain valid until the 2016 move.  Staff must ensure their valid parking permit is clearly displayed at all times when parking on site. If you have any issues with your parking permit please contact MAPD immediately.
