Volunteers are not required to pay for parking, but you need to display a parking permit when on site.

How to apply for a parking permit

The process for applying for a parking permit varies between hospitals.
Please follow the instructions for your hospital below:

Staff working at the following hospitals are not required to pay for parking:

  • Armadale Hospital
  • Bentley Hospital
  • Kaleeya Hospital
  • Graylands Hospital
  • Osborne Park Hospital
  • Swan District Hospital
  • Rockingham General Hospital
  • Royal Perth Hospital – Shenton Park

Incomplete applications will not be processed and returned for completion. If you have any questions or need help with filling out the application form, please contact us.

If your parking permit application is not successful, you have the right to appeal the decision. See appeals.

Osborne Park Hospital

Staff at Osborne Park Hospital need to contact Facilities Management on site for parking permit application details

KEMH and PMH

For new staff or staff applying for parking for the first time you are required to complete and submit an application form.

  1. Download the parking permit application form that applies to you:
  2. You only need to complete one of the above forms. Parking permit application forms are also available from the Physical Resources Department.
  3. Private vehicle drivers – your application form must be signed by your Head of Service/Department
  4. Submit your completed application form:
    • by mail, to the Metropolitan Access and Parking Department, Hawthorn House, 100 Flinders Street, Mt Hawthorn WA 6016
    • scan and email to: parking@health.wa.gov.au or
    • fax to 9225 3933

If your parking permit application is successful, you will be notified via the internal mail system – please ensure your contact details are correct.

Parking Permits are only valid for a period determined by Metropolitan Access and Parking Department. Staff with existing parking permits will be asked to reapply during 2014, full details of the process and requirements will be released at a later date.

RPH Wellington Street and Fremantle Hospital

For new staff or staff applying for parking for the first time you are required to complete and submit an application form.
