Double glazed – Sue

Looking through my eyes is like looking through a closed window.

You can see people going about their business, doing basically anything and everything.

Even though I can see them, I can’t join in.

I’m locked on this side of the window.

Light can come in.

But no sound.

I’m closed off: no one can get in and I can’t get out.

Mostly I don’t want to.

It’s safer in here.

Let people in to your world and it’s fraught with danger.

You can’t be hurt if you’re in here.
