Working in mental health
Orientation package and support networks
Without support, moving to a new city can be difficult. We have developed an orientation package and support networks for overseas and interstate mental health employees when they arrive.
To welcome you and your family, we provide essential background information to help you make a smooth transition to the workplace. There are also resources and guides to help families explore their new surroundings and environment.
If you are appointed to a mental health position in Western Australia, your new health service may be able to meet you at the airport and take you to your pre-arranged temporary accommodation. Your new employer may also assist you in finding accommodation.
