South West


The South West region is found in the south west corner of the State, facing the Indian and Southern Oceans.


The region covers an area of 23,998 square kilometres. The rugged coastline, world-class surfing, caves and wineries are some of the many attractions for visitors. The Valley of the Giants tree top walk is found near Walpole.

Major towns

The major population centre is the town of Bunbury.

Other important towns are Busselton, Collie, Manjimup, Margaret River and Pemberton.
