The Environmental Health Directorate is responsible for monitoring and acting upon key environmental health issues, such as drinking water quality and food safety, to ensure a safe environment for the population across Western Australia. The Environmental Health Directorate aims to protect people from hazards in their environment which pose a risk to their health including biological, chemical, physical and social factors in the environment.
