WA Health is committed to providing transparent and accountable reporting on health system performance to the community and WA Health staff.

The National Health Performance Authority has released its inaugural report titled Hospital Performance: Time patients spent in emergency departments in 2011-12 (external site). This report examines the time patients spent in Emergency Departments (EDs) following the introduction of the National Emergency Access Target (NEAT); and reports on the percentage of patients departing EDs within four hours of arrival and the length of time until most patients departed the ED.
