Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Learning Package
Paediatric Resuscitation Learning Package, developed for the Shared Health Interactive Practice (SHIP) by Paediatric Nursing Education, Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) for health professionals and students wishing to update their knowledge in paediatric resuscitation.
Please note: the package for 'Code Blue' program is only for PMH staff.
- Safety and Quality Investment for Reform (SQuIRe) - Falls Prevention
The training package is a collaborative initiative from the Safety and Quality Investment for Reform (SQuIRe) fall prevention teams in the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS). The content is based on the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare’s Preventing falls and harm from falls in older people: best practice guidelines for Australian hospitals and residential care facilities (external site). It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. A certificate is available once completed.
Smoke Free WA Health: Online Tobacco Brief Intervention Training (external site)
This evidence based, best practice training program has been developed by the National Drug Research Institute for Smoke Free WA Health. All WA Health Staff are encouraged to complete the training to achieve competency in brief intervention and motivational interviewing.
Hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) online learning resources for health professionals (external site)
This is a free online learning program developed by Edith Cowan University for the Sexual Health and Blood-borne Virus Program. The online learning program aims to increase knowledge and skills in managing sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and hepatitis B and C, through the education of medical practitioners, nurses and other health professionals in Western Australia. Professional development points are available for general practitioners and nurses.
