Infrastructure program

What is it?

The Infrastructure program includes the servers, storage, desktop and communications infrastructure that supports all of WA Health’s work. It will provide a standardised and managed technology environment including:

Wide area network, providing greater capacity through greater bandwidth
Local area network, providing greater technical capacity to our hospitals
Consolidation of servers and ICT storage facilities
Support for the new systems to be introduced through the portal and new core programs
A managed desktop environment, including PCs, laptops and end user devices
