About eHealthWA
The eHealthWA program is a major reform initiative designed to provide a modern, integrated and user-friendly platform to facilitate the delivery of world-class public health services in WA.
eHealthWA 'connects the dots' by allowing health information to flow regardless of where you interact with the system. Both information and clinical evidence will be available at the point of care to support effective decision-making.
A program of work has been developed that includes pharmacy, patient administration system (PAS), clinical information system (CIS) and notification and clinical summaries (NaCS).
A Clinical Reference Group (CRG) has been established to provide clinical input into the program. This consultation process ensures that we maintain a focus on business outcomes and enabling capabilities that address current WA Health needs and facilitate health reform. The program will link in closely with the national E-health strategy ensuring that we are able to leverage the work being done in other jurisdictions.
