The NSW Health Interim Influenza Pandemic Action Plan is designed as a framework by which NSW Health should operate through the different phases of a pandemic. It is designed to mesh with the Australian Management Plan for Pandemic Influenza as well as with the NSW HEALTHPLAN framework.
The Victorian Influenza Pandemic Plan (November 2005) has been developed and aims to minimise the morbidity and mortality associated with an influenza pandemic as well as its impacts on the Victorian community, health care system and economy.
The WA Government Human Influenza Pandemic Plan is now available. The Plan uses a comprehensive emergency management approach of prevention, preparedness, response and recovery, which is consistent with national and international planning. It is a living document that is intended to be further developed as more detailed planning is undertaken.
