2009 DPMU Training Calendar - Excel Version 10/10/2008
  After wide consultation with stakeholders the 2009 DPMU Annual Education and Training Calendar has been released.  The resulting program is designed to encourage maximum participation and meet the training needs of the WA Health Community in respect to disaster preparedness.  

The training program would not be possible without the goodwill of professionals
(and their parent hospitals/organisations) who lend their expertise and time to support the training so much thanks goes to them.

Westplan Health 2007 is the State Health Emergency Management Support Plan. The role of this document is to outline the State Health planning framework that guides the prevention, preparation, response to and recovery from, any extraordinary incident that may be classified as a major incident, disaster or emergency and incorporates a multi agency response, multiple casualties, public health threat or humanitarian assistance.

The Forum for Global Health Protection is a new, independent think tank being set up in close association with, but independent from, the UK’s Health Protection Agency. FGHP’s aim is to address the need for an authoritative, independent think tank that is well-funded, has access to the best science, and concentrates on identifying and assessing new and emerging health threats.
