|Description:||A new process for filling vacancies via an Internal Expression of Interest (EOI) has been introduced to cater for the increased volume of EOIS being advertised across WA Health due to the Recruitment Freeze. Health Support Services will be supporting the new process for all placement of EOls on the Jobs Opportunities internal Notice Board. The Holii EOI web site will no longer be available for any new postings and will gradually be phased out. All current postings will remain on the Holii EOI site until advertisement closing dates have been reached.|

New process for filling vacancies via an Expressions of Interest
Due to the current external recruitment freeze an increased number of Expressions of Interest (EOI) are expected to be used to fill vacancies within WA Health.
For the duration of the external recruitment freeze, EOIs may also be used to fill permanent appointments by transfer at level. An EOI can also be called, subject to relevant approvals, for acting opportunities greater than six months where there is no possibility of permanency.
Health Support Services (HSS) has previously processed EOIs if they were for a period greater than six months. However, for the duration of the external recruitment freeze, EOIs that are to be advertised across all of Health, will be lodged and located on the Job Opportunities internal noticeboard. HSS will be responsible for processing and advertising these EOIs.
This process must be applied for all internal vacancies greater than 6 months to ensure that the required redeployment clearance is undertaken, and any quarantined vacancies are identified prior to advertising.
Where EOI’s are for a period of less than 6 months and the advertising is limited to a specific service/s, the EOI process may continue to be managed by the relevant Health Service. Alternatively, EOIs can be submitted to the Job Opportunities internal noticeboard to maximise the field of candidates.
