WA Health Telecommuting Policy
WA Health is committed to creating a positive work environment that assists employees to balance their work and non-work commitments.
WA Health recognises telecommuting can assist employees by reducing transport costs and commuting time and increase job satisfaction and productivity. WA Health may benefit by attracting high calibre employees who otherwise may not be available, reducing operational costs and enhancing organisational flexibility.
WA Health’s responsibility for providing a quality health service to the community is paramount, and as such, service delivery needs must take priority when considering an application to telecommute and during the term of an approved telecommuting arrangement.
