Purchased Leave Guidelines - Medical Practitioners
The purpose of this Circular is to provide guidance on the application of Clause 34(18) – Annual Leave Options of the Department of Health Medical Practitioners (Metropolitan Health Services) AMA Industrial Agreement 2011, the Department of Health Medical Practitioners (Director General) AMA Industrial Agreement 2011, the Department of Health Medical Practitioners (Drug and Alcohol Office) AMA Industrial Agreement 2011 and the Department of Health Medical Practitioners (WA Country Health Service) AMA Industrial Agreement 2011 (“the Industrial Agreements”).
With the agreement of the Employer, eligible employees may reduce their ordinary earnings and purchase up to an additional four weeks’ leave per year. The attached Guidelines provide how purchased leave will be administered.
