Department of Health Medical Practitioners (Drug and Alcohol Office) AMA Industrial Agreement 2011
On Friday 1 April 2011 the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission registered the Department of Health Medical Practitioners (Drug and Alcohol Office) AMA Industrial Agreement 2011 (“the Agreement”). The Agreement replaces the Department of Health Medical Practitioners (Drug and Alcohol Office) AMA Industrial Agreement 2007.
The Agreement is effective from the date of registration (1 April 2011) except for the increases to salaries and allowances which are effective from 1 October 2010, 2011 and 2012. Employees whose employment ceased prior to 1 April 2011 are not entitled to the retrospective application of the increase to salaries and allowances.The key changes to the Agreement include:
