Health Workers Community and Child Services Award 2000 - adjustment of wages and allowances rates
Please find attached a copy of an Order of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission varying Clauses 7, 12, 14 and 18 of the Health Workers Community and Child Health Services Award 2000 in accordance with the 2005 Safety Net Review. These variations are effective from the first pay period on or after 28 July 2005.
The changes to Clause 12 - Wages have no practical effect for employees covered by the LHMU - Department of Health Aboriginal and Ethnic Health Workers - (Federal) Agreement 2005 because the Agreement prescribes higher wage rates.
Payments made in accordance with Clause 14 - District Allowance and Clause 18 - Laundry and Uniform Allowance will need to be adjusted in line with the attached Order and outlined below:
