Defence Force Reserves - DoCEP Circular No. 5 of 2005
This circular replaces OP 1703/03 Australian Defence Forces - Reserve Service - Effect on Employee Entitlements DoCEP Circular No. 9 of 2003.
The Department of Employee and Consumer Protection (DoCEP) has issued a new circular updating both the amount of leave available to be accessed for Defence Force purposes and, the treatment of other entitlements when Defence Force leave is taken. This circular is attached.
This new circular sets new minimum standards for Defence Force Leave across the public sector. Where there is a difference between this circular and the employee's applicable award or agreement, the better entitlement is to apply.
