Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS) Updated Guidelines
This Operational Circular is to advise of updated Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS) Guidelines. The new guidelines (attached) are effective immediately.
The new guidelines are intended to provide improved clarity for patients, doctors and PATS administrators. The guidelines are not intended to result in any changes to PATS policy or operation.
The guidelines have been separated into 2 separate documents. The first half is the Policy Guidelines, which will now be available to the public via the Department of Health website. The second half is the User Guidelines, which will only be available on the Department of Health Intranet.
