Reflections Art Studio
Reflections Art Studio is a statewide adult mental health service for people living with persistent mental illness. Our aim is to promote mental health, wellbeing and recovery through the visual arts, using art as a complementary therapy. Artwork is created in open studio settings for participants to work on their own projects, or in more structured class settings that facilitate the learning of particular art skills and techniques.
Art therapists and art instructors provide a safe and supportive place to:
- Explore and enjoy creativity
- Express and communicate through art
- Learn and develop visual arts practice
- Enjoy a sense of belonging while making art in the company of others
We believe that art is life sustaining, that people are naturally creative, and that they can use their creativity for personal healing and recovery.
