Anaphylaxis

Why is it important to know about anaphylaxis?

The most important part of managing children with anaphylaxis is avoiding any known triggers.

Schools and child care services need to work with parents and children to ensure that certain foods or items are kept away from the child, to prevent exposure to known triggers. Knowledge of severe allergies will assist staff to better understand how to help children who have this problem.
