Are you a healthcare professional wanting to know more about how best to manage wounds?

If yes, then the WoundsWest Online Wound Education Program is for you.

WoundsWest provides an online interactive program designed by wound management experts.  The program will help you provide better patient care by improving your ability to prevent and manage wounds.

This evidence-based program is free and can be used anytime - day or night.

Australian College of Nursing program Endorsement

As an Australian College of Nursing (ACN) endorsed program, you can now receive CPD points.

“This online learning program is endorsed by ACN according to our Continuing Professional Development Endorsed Course Standards. It has been allocated 2 CPD hours per module according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Continuing Professional Development Standard”

You can move through each module at your own pace:
  1. Test your current knowledge with a quiz
  2. Use a case study to carry out a wound assessment and devise a management plan or
  3. Start from the beginning and enjoy your journey.

Take a look and start learning – we suggest that you start with the Core Module, as the satellite modules build on the fundamentals in the Core Module.

We will continue to add more satellite modules to our program including surgical, trauma, obstetric, malignant and dermatology wounds.

Royal Australian College of General Practitioners program accreditation

WoundsWest is and RACGP Accredited Activity Provider. We offer a range of face to face ALMs and an online wound education program.
