HRC recommendations and timeline

While full implementation of the recommendations will span a number of years, significant change is already evident within the first year.

Timing for the development and implementation of the 99 individual projects required to fulfil the recommendations varies. The initial focus has been on projects identified as system priorities, and projects that needed to be implemented to enable other initiatives to be established.

Many of the projects require extensive consultation during development and implementation. This involves the community, key stakeholders and others.

Staff consultation and involvement is integral to the collaborative reform process and there are ongoing opportunities to include staff opinion and ideas for planning and project implementation.

A timeline for the completion or progress towards the implementation of each recommendation has been developed along with a summary table and a full list of the recommendations timelines.
