|Description:||This policy sets out the minimum requirements for Health Service Providers (HSPs) and the Department of Health (DoH) to comply with the WA Government Fleet Policy and Guidelines as issued by the Department of Finance (DoF).
HSPs and the DoH must comply with the motor vehicle fleet cap set by the DoF. Where a HSP or the DoH cannot meet the mandated cap for the year, they will be required to negotiate with the DoF to implement a plan to reduce its vehicle fleet.
Vehicles provided as a Salaries and Allowances Tribunal (SAT) entitlement are private vehicles and are not governed by this policy. Conditions and information relating to SAT vehicles are available from the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
