The Government Heritage Property Disposal ProcessThe Government Heritage Property Disposal Process identifies and assesses the heritage values of Government owned places under consideration for sale, transfer, lease or demolition. The State Government is the largest single owner of heritage places in WA and The State Heritage Office sets the standard for observing good heritage management and conservation practice. The Department of Health has many heritage significant properties throughout the State. The State Heritage Office has prepared the Government Heritage Property Disposal Process to guide assessment of Government properties for disposal or alternative use (ie: substantial upgrade/refurbishment). Please ensure that all staff are aware of the protocols and processes involved in managing land and property assets that may have heritage qualities/significance. Professor Bryant Stokes |
