Citizen Space Online Consultation Guidelines
The Health Strategy and Networks (HSN) have purchased and are trialling Citizen Space, an online consultation system. The two year trial is to commence in July 2014 and will be conducted in phases, targeting;
It is hoped that Citizen Space will be an effective way to engage a broad range of stakeholders and ultimately achieve greater engagement with the public.
Citizen Space consultation process
Approval to publish
For the duration of the trial, prior to an online consultation being released for stakeholder participation, approval to publish should be sought at appropriate level as mentioned below.
When approval has been obtained, the creator may release the consultation to the relevant stakeholders as appropriate.
There may be capacity within online consultations to make de-identified responses available to the public. If this is a desired feature, participants should be made expressly aware of this possibility and consent from responders should be obtained.
